Coach Rep, Sabrina Hinson
Email: sabrinahinson@hotmail.com
I am a NCCP National Trained Professional Figure Skating Coach, Choreographer and Off Ice Trainer. I am also a Star 1-4 Competition Judge and have experience working with Hockey Teams and Players on developing their Skating Skills and Power Skating drills. I have coached all over Canada in Nova Scotia, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and now Ontario. My goal is to live and coach in all the provinces.
My main goal as a skater was to always become a Professional Coach, something I am so proud to have been able to achieve and has allowed me to travel the country to live and work and meet so many great people in this wonderful sport!
Those of you who know me well, know how much I love doing choreography for the competition solos, and I strongly believe the artistic side of the sport is just as important as the technical side. Fun Fact: The first solo I ever choreographed was when I was 9 years old for myself for an ice show solo ( I skated to music from the Wizard of Oz and was dressed as a Munchkin)
Outside of skating, I enjoy Yoga, Softball, Reading, anything Artistic, Museums , exploring new places and watching Jeopardy.
I feel skating is such a wonderful sport which has a place for everybody - regardless of age or ability. It is never too late to start and I hope some of you will be inspired today by the amazing skaters this club has , and consider registering in our programs for next season.
